Hello and welcome to the Old School Carpentry Company. We are an independant company based in a beautiful Old School House in West Wales. The company was founded by Rory who has come from a background of historical restoration, and who is passionate about creating functional, timeless designs.

We produce a range of wooden products large and small, ranging from kitchen furniture to chopping boards. Our timber is British where possible and sourced from the surrounding Counties using sustainable sources. We also use reclaimed timber in many of our products, which gives a unique vintage feel to our designs.

A green Oak bench which can be designed to sit around your favourite tree.

This is our signature piece, which is truly breathtaking and special. Designed to sit on hand carved wooden globes which surround the tree. The green oak is carefully steamed and shaped making a comfortable, impressive seat. Each seat is as unique as the tree it surrounds, working in harmony with the natural landscape.

A perfect anniversary gift from a family to their parents, or as memorial for a loved one. These seats make a feature in any garden.

Tree benches can be designed to sit around almost any type of tree, including a newly planted one, but we pay careful attention to the expected mature size of the tree ensuring there is enough space for normal tree growth.
