Hello and welcome to the Old School Carpentry Company. We are an independant company based in a beautiful Old School House in West Wales. The company was founded by Rory who has come from a background of historical restoration, and who is passionate about creating functional, timeless designs.

We produce a range of wooden products large and small, ranging from kitchen furniture to chopping boards. Our timber is British where possible and sourced from the surrounding Counties using sustainable sources. We also use reclaimed timber in many of our products, which gives a unique vintage feel to our designs.

Landscape show / recent projects

 It's been a glorious Summer in Pembrokeshire and we've made beautiful bespoke pieces for some of the clients we met at GROW London, including a rustic oak garden table and benches, and some lovely Oak gates. I've also attached a photo of a lovely double Adirondack seat I mede earlier in the year as an anniversary present.

With Autumn approaching it's show time again. September we'll be back in London for the Landscape show in Battersea park, joining some big names in the landscape business.

GROW London

We're super excited to have been invited to exhibit at GROW London, a new contemporary garden fair later this June in Hampstead Heath.

GROW London is set to be the most exciting gardening event of the Summer. Around 100 carefully selected exhibitors will be offering an unrivalled mix of rare plants, stylish furniture (that'll be us!), hand-crafted tools and the latest accessories, all guaranteed to help you make the most of your garden however large or small.

And even if you have no outdoor space to call your own, there's still lots to spark your growing passions with innovative community planting ideas and exciting, design-led products to bring the garden indoors too.

We are hoping to meet some enthusiastic designers and fellow crafts people, I am working hard on a nautical inspired garden seat installation which is taking shape nicely. Photos will follow.

Happy New Year!

Well what a year we have had in 2013. We have worked hard to reach as many people as possible and hope that our business continues to prosper over the next year with the continued support of our family, friends and clients. Thank you all.

Lots of our handmade Welsh Beech boards were given as gifts over the festive season, and we were delighted with how many people sent us photos of the boards in action. So much so that we have launched a competition for the best photo….but we need your help picking a winner!
